Maldives are no longer just a tourist destination

In March 2022 Avto Engineering Holding Group won a tender announced by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure of the Maldives. The project for urban development and sustainability is financed by the World Bank, and the contract concluded by the Bulgarian company is for the supply of safety equipment for rescue operations in the capital Male.

 

"This is not the first similar destination in which our company implements projects, but it is certainly one of the most exotic," says Julian Dimov, owner of Avto Engineering Holding Group. "The destination is an important incentive when choosing a project!" - confess the people working in the company with smiles and sparkles in their eyes. They are a relatively small cohesive team of individuals with diverse qualifications, interests and competences. What they have in common is the desire to fight and implement seemingly "strange" projects in "strange" destinations.

 

"In the beginning, such projects are charged with a lot of enthusiasm, but also backed up with solid experience. The risks we take are not small, but every completed project in a similar destination brings satisfaction and meaning to the people working in the company," adds Julian Dimov.

 

Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts and Nevis Islands, Malawi, Jamaica, Indonesia, Albania, Belarus and many others are the countries where the Bulgarian company with 20 years of experience, stepped in more than 20 countries on 4 continents, wins and successfully performs contracts for supply of specialized equipment and all kinds of vehicles but not only.

In 2018, the company won a project for the supply and installation of tables and desks for 21 schools in the African country of Malawi. More than 16,000 units have been delivered in different points of the country, whose roads are an unimaginable challenge and fuel is often is missing.

 

In Papua New Guinea, the winning project is for tools and equipment for technical and vocational education centers. An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale greets the company's team on the very first day of their stay in the country, where modern technologies are penetrating slowly, and stories about cannibals are not just a myth.

 

In Albania and the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and Nevis, the beneficiaries are local police services, and the supplies include specialized vehicles and a mobile command center.
