After Shumen, Haskovo and Vidin, the Firefighting Department of Sofia has acquired 2 Shumcar™ from Avto Engineering Holding Group! Shumcar™ is basically an "ambulance" for fires. The system is designed for initial extinguishing of class A fires, i.e. solid burning and smoldering substances. It was developed by the engineers and technicians of Avto Engineering Holding Group and can be adapted for installation on all brands of light commercial vehicles, pickup trucks, minibuses, and cargo trucks. The capacity of the tank allows continuous supply of water and foam for 30 minutes. The pump operates under ultra-high pressure, and the jet reaches up to 17 meters.
Shumcar™ fire extinguishing system by Avto Engineering Holding Group was purchased by other two Regional Directorates of Fire Safety and Population Protection: Shumen - 3 pcs. and Haskovo - 4 pcs. Before the start of the fire season, the two organizations chose to increase their capacity with Shumcar™ - the system for fighting field and lowland forest fires produced in Bulgaria! Shumcar™ was developed by the team of engineers and designers of Avto Engineering Holding Group headed by Eng. Leonardo Stoyanov, a long-time employee of the Main Directorate of Fire Safety and Population Protection.
The environmentally friendly vehicles have been supplied by Avto Engineering Holding Group under a public procurement contract with subject "Supply of electric buses and charging stations for them for the needs of the Municipality of Shumen". The electric buses are 9 meters long and are manufactured by the Chinese company Golden Dragon, a world leader in the production of electric buses. Learn more..
