Eco Compact is a waste compactor with intelligent control. It was developed by Avto Engineering Holding Group in 2021 with the support of the National Innovation Fund and in cooperation with the Technical University - Sofia.

 

The compacting machine which looks like a waste container, has a capacity of up to 500 liters and allows two types of power supply: in the electrical network or through a solar panel. Eco Compact reduces the volume of any type of packaging up to 7 times, which in turn contributes to the significant reduction of transport costs and reduces the carbon footprint of companies that have chosen to implement the innovation in their structures.

 

The innovative compactor is now available on the Bulgarian market and is suitable both for installation in shopping centers, fast food restaurants, business buildings, cinemas and theaters, sports facilities, as well as in parks and gardens, where the problem with the volume of waste and its rapid accumulation is palpable.

 

The benefits of the project are significant both for the users of the compactor, reducing their direct costs for waste removal, and for developing the green economy as a whole.
