The overall objective of the project “Cutting Precision for Environmental Provision” is to increase the capacities of our overall operations through the purchase of innovative fiber laser cutting equipment which is the latest and the most effective in terms of used technology available on the market in 2021. Our expectations are that it will contribute by at least 38% (if comparing with the COVID-19 crisis in 2020) for the increase of our turnover and by 10% if compering with our peak year - 2019. The growth will be guaranteed through energy savings (approximately 41 MWh per year), increased process speed (by 20%) and increased production capacity which is expected to reach 2500 m3/h.
Additionally the involvement of International Development Norway is expected to optimize further the impact of the investment by analysis and optimization of the production layout/flow and process based on lean principles. Last but not least the Partner will provide know-how on possible benefits of more digitization (monitoring by sensors) of the production process of the Fiber Cutting Machine.
The project will directly contribute to the following:
- Improved overall competitiveness of Avto Engineering Holding Group Ltd.;
- Increase of the total turnover;
- Increase of the total profit;
- Two new jobs to be created;
- Reduction of the energy consumption;
- Improve raw material efficiency;
- Prevented CO2 emissions.
