The Medical Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs received two new ambulances with modern medical equipment
The delivery of the two ambulances is an expression of IOM's support for the efforts made by our country to provide suitable conditions for health care and access to specialized medical care for foreigners temporary accommodated. It is also a projection of the stable cooperation between the Ministry of the Internal Affairs and the organization, established over the years, in order to provide for the teams of the Medical Institute ahigher mobility and an opportunity for quick response in their responsible task to save human lives every single day. The long-standing cooperation with the Mission of the International Organization for Migration in Bulgaria will continue to develop in a spirit of partnership and dialogue, assured the Minister of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, Radoslav Stamenov, IOM's representative for Bulgaria, emphasized that with the donation, the organization once again proves its commitment as a predictable and loyal partner and wished to the medical staff less often to use the ambulances.
The representatives of IOM, Minister Marinov, the director of the Institute Prof. Dr. Nencho Smilov, MD, and the Head of the Political Cabinet of the Interior Minister Mikhail Zlatanov, examined closely the ambulances and the innovative equipment. The technique was provided by IOM Bulgaria for the needs of the Medical Institute - Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria on a project implemented by IOM within the framework of the Emergency Aid Mechanism.
