Golden Dragon bus factory was established in 1992, and it counts with bus factory area of 547 000 m2; production capacity：15 000 large and medium-sized buses and 50 000 light buses; average 8300 electric buses manufactured per year; 3600 people working in the factory.
 

In 2021, Avto Engineering Holding Group placed the first order for 12-meter electric city buses with Golden Dragon. The delivered vehicles have several customized features. They are equipped with advanced technologies, have special boarding ramps for wheelchair-confined passengers and are easy to maintain.
 

In a very short term Avto Engineering and Golden Dragon managed to obtain significant market share in Bulgaria by beating the competition with excellent quality, competitive prices and reliable after-sales services.

The Bulgarian-Chinese tandem successfully delivered electric buses to 3 Bulgarian Municipalities – Vratsa, Haskovo and Varna and gain contracts with other 3 municipalities - Sandanski, Petrich and Shumen which are under implementation.
 

The service center of Avto Engineering in Bulgaria has been authorized by the manufacturer Golden Dragon and is fully equipped with all necessary technical tools and counts with well-trained staff for comprehensive warranty and post-warranty service of buses and charging stations, including repair of their main units, systems and parts.

About the manufacturer Golden Dragon
 

Apart from Bulgaria and China, PIVOT series electric buses made by Golden Dragon also run in Germany, the Netherlands, Israel and Mexico. Other models have been delivered to a total of 120 customers in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.

The first electric bus of Golden Dragon was put into operation in 2008, and 4 years later the first deliveries outside the Chinese market have started.
 

In 2015, Golden Dragon all-aluminum electric bus, designed jointly with a Dutch company, won the Best Ecological Award at BUSWORLD in Belgium.
